If you are looking for an email address that you have sent emails to before, just check your 'Sent' folder to see if the email that you once sent is in there. You can also attempt to find the address if the person is a Yahoo! Mail user and has a public profile by searching through http://profiles.yahoo.com.
However, if you are trying to locate one of your own email addresses, meaning your own Yahoo! account, that will require different steps. There is a help page titled "What if I forgot my password or Yahoo! ID?" located at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/id... I will cut and paste the information from that help page below:
Q: What if I forgot my password or Yahoo! ID?
A: You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. Visit the Sign-in Problems page (http://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_forgot... and supply some basic verification information, such as your birthday and the ZIP or postal code you provided when you registered.
Make sure to provide the same information you gave during registration or when you last updated your account. Without the correct verification information, you will not be able to obtain a new password.
