My niece wants an email pen-pal from Australia around 10-12, any safe places to find one?

I would not suggest doing it through Y!A. Try penpals.com. They have a junior section and there is a way to report any abuse to the system.You can choose what country you want a pen pal from or many. You can sit with her and go through the profiles. All letters are written through the site so the recipient does not have your email address unless you give it to them.

If my 12 year old was more interested in writing letters I would suggest her, but getting her to write to anyone is a pain !
