This is so stupid...I didn't do anything wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I do on Yahoo is chat and check my mail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So why would my account be deactivated?????????

My main Yahoo account was deactivated and I don't know why!!!!!!!!!!!! Who do I email to find out?????
Maybe you typed a wrong password.

Make sure the cap lock is off.

Email Yahoo..
Reply:If it was deactivated you can email reportabuse@cc.yahoo-inc.com and ask them to reactivate it. You can also call Yahoo (click "help" in the top right hand corner of your email page to find the #) and find out why it was deactivated.
Reply:Yahoo do not have to tell you ANYTHING, they do not tell you when they deactivate accounts, this is stated in the TOS, and you accept this fact when you make the accounts. You do not have to do anything wrong to have an account deactivated, seeing your account was an old account (1999) i wonder if it was RARE ID ( one that cannot be made anymore), if this be the fact and a Yahoo admin sees the ID, it would be deactivated inmediately.

If it is a main primary account that has been deactivated -- it has been deactivated by Yahoo, and no chance of getting it back.

Some say others can deactivate main accounts but this is not true only Yahoo deactivates. Yahoo deactivates accounts without warning ... Yahoo has changed the "goalposts" to try and stop the sex bots / scrollers / booters / abusers / cheats...If you scroll ..type too fast...or..send multiple invites...jump lounges/ tables/rooms ..click kibitz multiple times...use multiple nics..or basically click around too much....you will be BANNED....Yahoo thinks you are up2 mischief doing these things.... If you run a booter ..spamm..... violate the law ... cuss or abuse chatters among other things ... and Yahoo receives and abuse report ... and RECEIVES A COPY OF THE PAST CHAT SESSION (SCREEN SHOT) , Yahoo has the USA courts legal permission to deactivated or ban accounts ... minor banns can last for 8 hours ......... others years..most times it is only the ID that is banned ........ for major violations it is an IP bann, and deactivation of all accounts. If it was an ID/account that cannot be made anymore, ( a rare ID) and someone from Yahoo see's the account it is deactivated immediately. These IDS/accounts are only available to paying customers. Paying customers as well are often deactivated without warning and reason.

If you can still view your profile it is not deactivated, if you can't

view it, your profile has been deactivated by Yahoo and you have no chance in getting it back ... to see if your account has been deactivated try to recover the account, if it has been deactivated you will get a window up telling this fact.

When we click that we accept Yahoo's terms of service we accept the fact that Yahoo owns all these IDs , and can do with them as they please, not us. This is stated in Yahoo鈥檚 TOS.

You can try and contact Yahoo, but expect no help as they own the accounts.
